The TCMA Young Artist of the Year, Payton Riley, is hosting the annual Young Artist Songwriter Retreat in The Woodlands, TX for ages 13-19 years old.

The Texas Country Music Association has offered to team up with Payton to ensure that this songwriting retreat is top-notch for the young artists attending. The young artists will have an opportunity to learn from leading industry leaders about various aspects of the music industry.

At the retreat, young artists will have the privilege of learning about how to receive money from PRO’s, recording and releasing music, and radio promotion. In addition, they will receive a songwriting class from the renowned songwriter Greg Barnhill. The young artists will leave the retreat with two songs that they co-write with their fellow attendees and their songwriting mentors.
